Trailer Battery Not Charging F150. Done on a 2019 ford f 150 Disconnect your battery from the rv to isolate the battery’s electrical system.

I am not getting 12 v at my 7 pin plug so the trailer battery is not charging. One other item to check with your meter. All fuses are in place, as far as i can tell, and the fuses all test good.

Measure voltage between the pin at 1 o’clock and the pin at 7 o’clock on the truck connector with the truck running. When i connect my camper to my f150 i hold the brake to engage the 12v. Now turn the key off.
The 12 Volt Trailer Battery Charge Circuit Is Not Active On Certain Models When In Park Or During Gear Shifting So If You Were Trying To Test This Via The Pins On The Trailer Connector This Would Be Why It Is Not Active.

One Other Item To Check With Your Meter.
I was told the technician had to email ford to find out what to do. If it’s still there, you can run your battery down with the trailer. Some of the trucks may exhibit this message when there is an issue with the trailer module (trm) to the latest calibration using ids version 96.01 or higher.
Alternatively, You Can Use A Dc To Dc Charger.
Now, without the trailer connected there's a warning trailer battery not charging, see manual that displays when the brake petal is pressed. It was connected for diagnostic purposes. It will also vary depending on the rv battery's capacity and use.
